ANTICIPATED END DATE: 01 Nov 2025JOB PURPOSEThe Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging examinationsQUALIFICATIONSPost-secondary training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.Registered with the New Brunswick Association of Medical Radiation Technologists with certification in MRI.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist is responsible for:Assessing and preparing patients for proceduresPreparing and operating equipmentPerforming procedures in accordance with standards of practiceAssessing images and responding appropriatelyUsing clinical information systems to access and maintain clinical records and documentationAssisting with or performing quality assurance activities/initiativesProviding guidance and support to DI staff, students and other health care professionals.COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORKAttention to DetailDecision MakingInterpersonal SkillsPatient/Client FocusPlanning and Prioritizing WorkResults OrientationStress ManagementTeamwork and CollaborationInterested?
