Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Control equipment manufacturer. Tasks: Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints. Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors. Collect, record and summarize inspection results. Compress steel laminations to build transformer cores. Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints. Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards. Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems. Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards.
