Word of Mouth Dentistry is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave position on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our newly renovated clinic space! Our office is a well-established, fast-paced general dentistry and periodontal practice of over 30 years. Join our inclusive, vibrant and diverse midtown practice at Bathurst and Bloor! We are a fully digital practice with high quality equipment to offer our dental patients top quality care while offering our employees the top equipment they need to perform at a high skilled level with care and efficiency. The ideal candidate would have superior communication skills, kind chairside manner, a team-oriented individual with an upbeat personality who has experience in all aspects of dental hygiene. *Candidate must meet the following qualifications:* * Maintains current certifications, such as CPR * Registered in good standing with both the CDHO & ODHA * Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills * Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required * Understands and implements up-to-date infection control guidelines * Ability to perform dental hygienist duties such as scaling and root planning, polishing, sealants, digital radiographs, whitening, etc. * Ability to perform, communicate and educate patients on periodontal disease, caries process and oral hygiene instruction effectively * Comfortable using digital dental software to type/read patients clinical notes & is tech savvy * Excellent time management skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment * Kind and enthusiastic chairside manner * Proficiency in Tracker software is preferred (or a similar dental software) * Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence when required Join our team and contribute to creating beautiful smiles while making a positive impact on our patients' lives!
