MINI TIPI is seeking an experienced and collaborative Production Coordinator to oversee our production team. Responsibilities include supervising staff, optimizing processes, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement to support the company's growth. To be successful, you'll need 2-5 years of industrial sewing experience, proven leadership abilities, and a strong operational mindset.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Leadership*
* Lead and supervise a production team, while fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and performance
* Assess and lead yearly evaluation of production team
* Develop tools to promote employee independence
* Active participation in team meetings
* Participate in the hiring process of production team members
*Standards and quality control*
* Train production team, in various aspects of production according to MINI TIPI processes
* Guarantee that MINI TIPI quality standard are followed
* Minimize fabric waste
* Ensure a safe and secure workspace, ensure CNESST regulations are being followed
*Production needs and equipment maintenance*
* Perform machine maintenance
* Maintain sewing inventory and supplies, ordering when required
* Communicate with Operations manager when contractors are needed for repairs
* Communicate with Operation manager if larger equipment is needed
*Organization*
* Organize production calendar to meet Sales needs
* Optimize work division within the production team
* Optimize processes and techniques
* Raise red flags to sales team when production issues or damaged fabric arises
* Establish production quotas
*Document*
* Keep documentation and processes updated when changes are made
* Input data in company?s inventory systems for all things relating to production
* Track and document damaged fabrics and waste percentage
* Track and document worker incidents
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
*Mandatory*
* 2-5 years experience using industrial sewing machines
* Excellent knowledge of sewing and cutting techniques
* Excellent knowledge of industrial sewing machines
* Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
* Comfortable using computers, MS suite, Google Workspace, Inventory systems
* Experience to leading and managing a team
* Experience working with production lines
*Preferred*
* Knowledge of Indigenous culture
* Ability to establish and manage priorities
* Capacity to find solutions and problem solve quickly
* Knowledge of Cin7 Core
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma culture
