*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, medical offices, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to manage diverse patient needs, including acute care and pediatrics. *Job Requirement's:* * Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health histories for patients of all ages. * Assess patients? health status through observations and diagnostic tests. * Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses and develop treatment plans. * Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed. * Provide health education and counseling on disease prevention and wellness. * Administer immunizations and perform health screenings. * Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. * Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response. * Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to improve health. * Promote preventive measures to reduce the risk of illness. * Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Refer patients to specialists when necessary. * Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulations. * Document patient encounters and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR). * Advocate for patients? needs and preferences in their care. * Support patients in navigating healthcare systems and resources. * Provide initial care for minor injuries and acute medical conditions. * Assess and stabilize patients in urgent situations. * *Licensure Requirements* * Master?s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. * Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. * Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with pediatrics is a plus. * Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Experience in pain management or assisted living is advantageous. * Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in nursing practice.
