Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Review work orders . Road test motor vehicles . Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification. Tire, wheel and rim mechanic. Automotive Service Licence (310S).
