Position: Mobile Patrol Security GuardSite: London Health Science Centre - Victoria & University CampusSite Address: 800 Commissioners Road & 339 Windermere Road ?City: London, OntarioStatus: Full TimeHours: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 1430-2230hrsPay Rate: $18.00/hrOvertime Method: Employment Standards Act - calculating after 88 hours bi-weeklyPosting Date: October 31, 2024Closing Date: November 7, 2024Working on assigned shifts, you will work part time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time. You will be driving and patrolling the hospital grounds in a marked company patrol vehicle responding to all incidents on hospital property. Requirements: Must possess a valid G or G2 Class Driver's License with preferred driving experience of 3 years Must provide driver abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security Licence Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy Other InformationPaladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE!
