*Job Summary:* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept in both service plumbing and construction plumbing work, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role requires expertise in diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs, and installing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform a variety of plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. * Conduct service calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding plumbing issues, providing exceptional customer service and solutions. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations and repairs. * Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely and efficient project completion. * Inspect plumbing systems for compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. * Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project. * Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment. * Continuously update knowledge of plumbing technologies and techniques through training and professional development. *Qualifications:* * Valid Journeyman Plumbing License. * Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. * Comfort working in various environments, including residential homes and construction sites. * Ability to work in tight spaces and at varying heights. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Application question(s): * Must be able to pass a criminal record check and vulnerable persons sector check as much of our work is in institutions that require these.
