*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in surgery and be willing to work primarily in the role as surgery technician. This is a busy, multi-doctor practice with a large surgical caseload including some orthopedics. Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with surgical tech assistants and veterinarians who enjoy surgery. Some shifts as the technician assisting appointment doctors will also be part of the job. We offer a health benefits plan package, flexible time off, a great staff room with a view of the Comox glacier and a fun team of doctors and co-workers. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician in a similar role is preferred. * Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program is required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * RRSP match Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person- LocationCourtenay, BC
