We are currently seeking a *Project Manager *to join and strengthen our team, in one of our offices: *Montreal, Edmonton, Oakville, St John or Burnaby.* *WHY VTEK:* * *Competitive Salary:* Receive a competitive salary that reflects your expertise and experience. * *Comprehensive Benefits:* Enjoy a flexible group medical insurance plan and a defined contribution pension with employer participation. * *Work-Life Balance:* Benefit from flexible working hours with 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, and a business casual dress code. * *Professional Growth:* Access training tailored to your role and career development needs. * *Innovative Culture:* Join a team that values creativity, quality, and celebrates collective success. *YOUR MISSIONS:* * *Project Proposal Review:* Evaluate project proposals and execution plans as agreed with the client. * *Proposal Preparation:* Prepare proposals in response to RFP packages. * *Status Reporting:* Gather, analyze, and summarize project information to prepare status reports for management and stakeholders. * *Scope and Requirements:* Validate customer requirements, manage project scope, timelines, hours, and assumptions. * *Project Definition:* Finalize project scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budget, schedule, and objectives. * *Team Management:* Assign and manage project team members for each phase, and establish the project responsibilities and organization chart. * *Man-Hours and Deliverables:* Define final project man-hours and deliverables in collaboration with Discipline Engineering Managers. * *Execution Planning:* Plan and manage overall project execution activities, including engineering, procurement, and construction. * *Execution Plan:* Develop or update the Project Execution Plan (PEP) as required. * *Deliverables Schedule:* Establish the project deliverables schedule and overall execution schedule with project controls. * *Engineering and Design:* Direct engineering and design work with the Project Engineer to meet established budget and schedule. * *Project Control:* Control the project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and schedule changes, and recommend corrective actions. * *Bid Evaluation:* Analyze and review technical evaluations of contractor/supplier bids. * *Team Effectiveness:* Manage team productivity and ensure outputs meet stakeholder requirements and satisfaction. * *Regulatory Compliance:* Maintain the company?s reputation by complying with all applicable regulations and laws. *IDEAL CANDIDATE* * *Experience:* Minimum of 15 years in the industry. * *Education:* Background in Mechanical Engineering. *Join us at VTEK Consultants Inc. to contribute to major projects while promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and safety.* Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * Project management: 10 years (required) * Oil & Gas: 10 years (required) Licence/Certification: * canadian P.eng title (required) Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
