*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance the quality of life for patients. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. * Utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. * Educate patients and their families on treatment options, exercises, and preventive measures. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology. * Provide support and guidance to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. *Qualifications* * Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. * Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Alberta. * Experience in pediatrics or acute care is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence in clinical decision-making. * Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others achieve their health goals.
