*Job Description:*
As a Physiotherapist at The Joint Physiotherapy, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of physical conditions, working closely with a passionate team to provide comprehensive care. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and patient-centered approach will be key to delivering exceptional physiotherapy services.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Patient Assessment and Treatment:*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
* Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
* *Patient Education and Support:*
* Educate patients about their conditions and the benefits of physiotherapy.
* Provide guidance on exercises and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
* Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
* *Collaboration and Communication:*
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
* Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
* *Professional Development:*
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
* Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
* Contribute to a culture of learning and excellence within the clinic.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid physiotherapy license in Alberta.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
* Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
