*KERN BSG Management Ltd. *is a full mechanical contractor located in Burnaby, BC, operating throughout the Lower Mainland. We have been in business for 20 years and are proud of the family atmosphere in our mid-sized company. We work in the commercial and industrial sector. We are currently looking for an experienced *Apprentice* or *Journeyman HVAC Technician *to join our team. *Responsibilities:* * Assemble and install refrigeration or air-conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools * Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems * Startup systems and test for leaks using testing devices * Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing *What We Offer:* * Above market wage (Journeyman wage is $65.81/hr) * Extended Health, MSP, Dental and Vision benefits * Competitive RRSP non-matching plan * 3-Week holidays to start (Journeyman) * 2-week statutory holiday pay * 5 sick days * Company vehicle and gas card (Journeyman) * Company phone and laptop (Journeyman) *What We Are Looking For:* * Experience in service an asset * Clear driving record * Clear criminal background check * Electrical Endorsement ticket * Gas B Ticket * Red Seal HVAC ticket * Great attitude, customer service skills, neat appearance * Commercial construction skills an asset, but not required Check out our website at *www.kernbsg.com *to learn more about our Company.
