Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Custom machine shop. Manufacture. Tasks: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Clean and maintain work space. Equipment and machinery experience: Engine lathes. Milling machines. Repetitive machining operation experience: Turning. Boring. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?.
