*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints. This role involves working on various installation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. If you have a passion for building and craftsmanship, we would love to hear from you. *Responsibilities* * Install various structures and fixtures according to specifications and blueprints. * Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. * Perform caulking tasks to ensure proper sealing of installations. * Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process. * Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Siding Installer or maintenance person with strong skills in building and installation. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. * A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * siding: 2 years (preferred) * steel roofing: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Working at Heights Certificate (preferred) * WHMIS Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationNewcastle, ON
