Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Office building. Various locations. Social and family service agency. Child Welfare Organization. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Equipment: Carpet cleaning machine. Steam cleaners. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Initiative. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?.
