Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Oversee apprenticeship training. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications. Order supplies and equipment. Prepare reports. Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
