*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
*Duties*
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and guest inquiries.
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
* Handle phone calls promptly with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest needs or directing calls as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software.
* Assist with resolving guest complaints or issues in a courteous manner, ensuring satisfaction.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
* Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
*Skills*
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
* Proficient in phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
* Previous experience in hotel or front desk operations is preferred but not required.
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
* Basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest information.
