DescriptionCompletion of a 2 year post-secondary diploma in Horticulture or in a related field or Journeyman Landscape Gardener Certificate, or equivalencies will be considered 5 years experience in Horticulture and Landscape which would include the ability to identify various plants, understand plant needs and maintenance, and familiarity with landscape design and planning Must have completed Chainsaw training coursework, or have the ability to complete this upon appointment Assets: Intermediate or Emergency First Aid certificate Alberta Landscape Pesticide Applicators License Alberta Provincial Drivers License with Q endorsement Skills required for success: Extensive technical horticultural skills/knowledge Machinery and a variety of operator and tool experience Demonstrated supervisory skills and ability required Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as analytical and problem-solving skills Exemplary customer service- LocationEdmonton, AB
