UPDATING DATABASE FOR FUTURE OPPORTUNITIESNO START DATE FOR THIS POSITIONPosition: Onshore LabourerEmployment Type: Casual/On-Call?JOB SUMMARY: Help and Assist with inspection of lifting equipment.PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or EquivalentPrevious laborer experience requiredPrevious offshore experience considered an assetForklift Certificate considered an assetHard Working and DependableStrong Safety BackgroundExperience being on call ? available on short noticeBasic PPE (safety boots, coveralls, hard hat, work gloves, safety glasses, rain gear, etc)Must pass Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with inspection of lifting equipment, place lifting equipment in rigging loftsPerform housekeeping duties as instructedAssist with pulling out wire rope casing slings, coiling wire rope casing slings into basketsEnsure all tools and equipment are stowed appropriately at the end of each shift to avoid safety hazards for other operationsActively participate in the safety programs within the companyActively participate in safety, departmental, pre-tour, client meetings, etc.Monitor the environmental conditions to ensure the safety of operations in the facility or work areaEnsure that approved operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
