The Guards play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of detainees. In this vital position, you?ll be responsible for overseeing individuals in custody, ensuring their well-being while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion. If you?re dedicated, empathetic, and looking to make a difference in your community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Availability on evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays is required.NOTE: Applicants must have been residing in Canada for the past five years and hold a permanent resident status at minimum.Requirements:Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compliance with and approval of Security/Reliability Clearance and Criminal Record Search. Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts. What You?ll Do:Monitor and Supervise detainees. Collaborate with law enforcement to support a safe environment. Maintain cell block which may include light cleaning duties.
