Okanagan Eye MD is looking to fill a full-time Ophthalmic Technician position. We are a fast paced Ophthalmology office in the Okanagan. Our ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, empathetic and able to provide high quality patient care while building positive patient relationships. Some examples of Ophthalmic Technician responsibilities are: * Recording patient?s chief complaint, complete ocular and medical history * Documenting patient medications * Visual acuity & auto-refraction measurements * Color vision testing * Diagnostic testing such as OCT and Visual Field EMR experience such as Accuro, ophthalmic and/or optometry knowledge is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. We offer benefits after 3 months of employment. Compensation will depend on experience. This position is Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, our office is closed weekends and stat holidays. This posting will remain up until the position has been filled.
