Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Track and complete work orders. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Prepare and submit reports. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Establish work schedules and procedures. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Project. Internet. MS Access. MS Excel. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Service experience: Trucking.
