WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: *Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters with Rigging Experience* To work at our local *Lamont Shop* in the *Fort Saskatchewan & Bruderheim *area*. * *SALARY*: Up to *$47.60* per hour & *$57.25* per hour for DSP (contractor) *OVERTIME*: after 40 hours in a week *TRAVEL: *0.5hrs paid travel daily *START DATE: *ASAP *SCHEDULE*: 5 days on, 2 days off *HOURS PER DAY: *work for 9.5 hours and get paid for 10 hours *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) *SHIFT*: Dayshift *ACCOMODATIONS: *Local Position *DURATION*: Ongoing- Long Term Project Work *WORK SCOPE: *Shop *Working Conditions:* Full-time, Temporary Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Requirements:* * Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority * Experience with rigging is considered an asset * Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by Worley): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Previous industrial construction experience is an asset *Responsibilities* * Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work * Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches * Rigging - Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/or radio * Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed * Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment * May perform other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $47.60 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Lamont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Are you able to start right away?
