A Shipper/Receiver's primary role is to ensure orders and trucks are being processed and dealt with in a timely manner. They support the warehouse by assigning tasks, managing paperwork, booking trucks, and ensuring organization around equipment coming in and out. A Shipper/Receiver's responsibilities are: * Shipping and receiving inventory. * Operating forklifts, picking and packing orders, loading trucks - as applicable. * Assisting the Warehouse Manager with paperwork. * Working with the pick/fulfillment list to prepare and ship orders in a timely fashion. This includes: * Handling paperwork * Assigning pick tickets * Organizing orders and ensuring they are leaving the warehouse * Entering information into NetSuite * Booking trucks * Taking pictures of loads and documenting incoming and outgoing trucks. * Working with the Sales team to ship orders and communicate with customers. This includes: * Booking trucks * Communicating with customers when their order will be arriving * Ensuring good communication with the trucking companies * Following up with customers upon delivery to ensure high customer satisfaction and upselling Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Leduc, AB T9E 0V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Warehouse: 3 years (required) * Forklift: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationLeduc, AB
