Commercial Lighting Products Ltd. is Canada's largest independent Lighting Wholesaler, specializing in energy efficient solutions. We have a customer base of over 25,000 clients who rely on us for one-stop, name brand, efficient lighting solutions. We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving person to join our Victoria location. This is a full time Monday to Friday (8am-430pm) office/warehouse position. Experience in electrical or lighting industries is a definite asset, along with first-aid certification and forklift experience. We are looking for someone who is able to work in a team environment. Strong, positive and upbeat interpersonal skills preferred. This entry-level position has upward movement opportunities into other departments. *Duties & Responsibilities* - Shipping Products - Receiving Products - General warehouse duties such as - Providing assistance and customer service to walk-in customers - Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment, i.e., sweeping, clean up cardboard, etc. - Perform other duties as required *Desired Skills & Qualifications* - High school diploma - Efficient, reliable with attention to detail and a strong work ethic - Professional and exceptional customer service skills - Proficient in English, written and oral - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills - Strong computer skills - Maintains composure under pressure - Ability to lift up to 100lbs. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Fork lift experience would be an asset - First-aid experience would be an asset We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
