You will join a small accounting firm located in Montreal - Ville Saint Laurent.
We?re currently looking for a full time administrative assistant to assist the senior accountant.
You will oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations at the office, focusing on administrative tasks. Your role is key to ensuring the ongoing success of our team and its projects.
*TASKS*
Take incoming calls, answer emails, and provide customer service
Classification , scanning, sending and archiving of documents
Provide admin support to the chief accountant
Ensure internal and external communication by following up on various client related matters
Carry out research and provide answers to requests for information
ESIGN financial statements, tax returns, clients mandate letter etc.
Act as the bridge with the clients
Prepare correspondence for tax autorities
Classify documents in line with established procedures
Manage office equipment & supplies
Manage partners' agenda, contacts and e-mails
Ensure follow ups with client accounts and collect payments from clients
Make sure the office space is organized
*Required skills:*
DEC in secretarial or business administration, or Equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role (in an accounting office, an asset)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
Computer literacy: Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
Display a strong sense of confidentiality, management and interpersonal skills

Temporary position with a 3-month probation period with the possibility of permanence
Flexible hours: 7h-9h am to 3h30-5h30 pm
30H-35H Monday to Friday (office close every Friday at 12h30)
