Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Long-haul. National. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Patience. Experience: Will train.
