Select One Media is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Social Media Manager to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive growth and engagement for multiple client accounts. You will utilize your creativity, analytical skills, and in-depth knowledge of social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and foster community engagement. Position is part-time with the opportunity to become full-time.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Social Media Strategy Development:
* Design and implement tailored social media strategies for various client accounts that align with their business goals.
* Set clear objectives for follower growth, engagement, and brand awareness across platforms.
* Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery.
* Growth and Engagement Strategies:
* Develop and execute follower acquisition strategies to increase audience size and engagement.
* Engage with followers through timely responses, comments, and community-building initiatives, creating a loyal online community.
* Performance Analytics and Reporting:
* Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics across all accounts.
* Prepare monthly analytic reports that detail growth, engagement rates, and actionable insights for clients.
* Campaign Management:
* Plan and manage organic social media campaigns.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with overall marketing strategies.
* Trend Monitoring and Adaptation:
* Keep abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging tools to ensure strategies remain relevant and effective on LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
* Experiment with new content formats and strategies to enhance audience engagement.
* Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with account managers, designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive brand message across all client platforms.
* Provide regular updates to clients, showcasing progress and results achieved through social media efforts.
*Qualifications*
* Proven track record of managing social media accounts for multiple clients with a focus on growth and engagement is an asset.
* Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and audience demographics.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
* Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
* Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
* Local to Grande Prairie Alberta.
