Kits Plumbing Ltd. is currently seeking a *Journeyman plumber *for residential service, maintenance, new Installations, and retrofits for plumbing and heating. *Job description * *Journeyman Plumber Job Responsibilities: * * Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to test for leaks * Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools * Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using hand and power tools * Cut openings in walls or floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings * Join pipes together using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering sealants or welding equipment * Residential service and maintenance * Excellent communication skills, customer service, bond-able * Heating, Furnace, service and install, gas fitting experience * HVAC experience not required but would be an asset. *Duties: * * To install, maintain and repair plumbing systems in a safe and efficient manner. * To ensure that all plumbing installations comply with local building codes and regulations. * To provide prompt and courteous service to customers. * To keep up to-date with the latest advancements in the plumbing trade. * To troubleshoot and repair plumbing problems in a timely and efficient manner. *Kits Plumbing and Heating offers: * * Excellent team player environment, that are focused on providing quality workmanship on ALL projects. * On going training offered. * Customer service-based professionalism in every aspect of our dealings. * Fun and exciting projects - no high rise and repetitive tasks. * Tons of opportunity for growth within our company, assisting you with your career journey * Company events and gatherings, feel like your part of a family not a corporation * Full time work, (overtime pay when needed). * Competitive wages, competitive pay based on experience and skills * Full comprehensive benefits package after probation period * Company vehicle with gas card *Benefits included: * * Health insurance * Commission pay * Paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement. * Company car * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care * Tuition reimbursement (after 3-month probation) *Job Type:* Full-time *Salary/wage*: $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience *Expected hours*: 40 per week *Work Location:* In person *Language requirement*: Fluent English *Schedule: *Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 pm *Experience and Qualifications: * * Plumbing experience: 4 years (required) * Red Seal/Journeyman Certification * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Good physical stamina and strength, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination * Drivers License required If you are a dedicated professional with the skills, knowledge, and experience, we're looking for, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. *How to Apply:* Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications to Joyce at info@tksbusinesscnsulting.com.
