*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Brick Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, with the ability to build, renovate, and restore structures using bricks and other materials. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as experience with both hand and power tools. The Brick Mason will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of construction projects. *Duties* * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. * Build, renovate, and restore structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials. * Mix Mortar, lay bricks and blocks with no assistance, ability to lines, layouts, work on the wall, etc * Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete masonry tasks. * Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure weatherproofing of structures. * Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Operate heavy equipment as needed for specific job tasks or site conditions. *Experience* * Proven experience in masonry work is essential; familiarity with various masonry techniques is preferred. * Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. * Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards in all projects. * A commitment to safety practices on the job site is required.
