We believe diversity makes us stronger and are committed to removing barriers and creating a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and abilities.<p>Job Posting Number:SS#2425-006-PCEligibility:<p>This position is open to all applicants; Support Staff Association Members will be considered prior to external applications. <p>Full Time Equivalent:1.0 FTE Assignment:Effective immediately.<p>7 hours a day, 5 days a week.Site and LocationBoard Office, Napanee, ON<p>*Incumbent is required to travel to various board locations, mileage is compensated.<p>About the ALCDSBThe Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board serves approximately 12,000 students, employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff, and covers a geographical area of more than 16,000 square kilometers (Whitney in the North, Picton in the South, Trenton in the West, and Kingston in the East).<p>The ALCDSB builds faith-filled learning communities where each member is loved, inspired, and successful.<p>Position Summary:<p>The Project Coordinator, Energy Systems coordinates and monitors existing mechanical and electrical building systems, develops preventative maintenance and energy management strategies, assists with implementation of various capital, renewal, and energy management projects, and prepares reports, logs, catalogues, and presentations. <p>What you bring to the team: Completion of post-secondary education in energy systems engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology studies <p> Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in facility operations and construction coordination with a focus on building systems preferred;<p> Through knowledge of and experience with BAS and HVAC systems;<p> Good knowledge of applicable legislation such as ASHRAE, OESC, OBC, OFC, OHSA, Municipal By-laws, etc; <p> Strong computer skills are essential and knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, SFIS, VFA, eBASE, UCD would be an asset;<p> Ability to function independently with minimal direction;<p> Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills;<p> Must possess a valid drivers license and have access to a vehicle in order to travel and provide service throughout the district;The Board is seeking candidates who demonstrate the following core competencies:Communication <p>Shares and receives information and ideas in a variety of ways and adapts to the needs of the audience to ensure the message is understood.<p>Innovation <p>Creates, develops and implements new processes or services with the aim of improving the learning community for all.<p>Interpersonal Relations <p>Displays characteristics and personal attributes that enhance communication and interactions.
