*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a professional who is passionate about oral health and has a strong commitment to patient care. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients of all ages. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients? teeth and gums. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. * Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans for patients. * Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients. * Uphold strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. *Skills* * Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base. * Experience in dental assisting is a plus, enhancing the ability to support the dental team effectively. * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial. * Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient interactions and experiences. * Familiarity with orthodontics practices can enhance patient care options. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, contributing to a smooth workflow.
