*Job Description:* Carpenter Apprentice is to be involved in new construction, renovation and maintenance of sophisticated and cutting-edge facilities. The candidate will work closely with the construction superintendent and other carpenters. Must be willing to travel within the South Okanagan at various job site locations. *Job Duties:* * Assist journeyman with related tasks and projects. * Package finished products and deliveries. * Read, interpret, and create cut lists from shop drawings and specifications. * Assist journeyman with related tasks and projects. * Shop duties as assigned. *Job Qualifications:* * 2nd / 3rd year apprentice * Experience in commercial and residential construction * Proficient in using an array of specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools. * Excellent organizational skills and demonstrate a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks. * Valid driver?s license * High level of attention to detail * Desire to learn and develop *Physical Requirements:* * Work collaboratively and solely as required * Stand/walk/crouch/kneel for long period of time * Lift and carry materials weighting up to 50 lbs, occasionally more than 50 lbs with assistance _Vines & Rebar is an equal opportunity employer.
