Danish Pastry House is a niche producer of Danish Pastries, Breads and bakery products. The growth strategy is to focus on expanding it's brand presence of Pastries, breads, bakery products, and coffee. The Company seeks to create a greater presence in the retail scene as a go-to-place for comfort and enjoyment in food, coffee, and excellence in service. It serves its products through its expanding retail outlets/food service operations in the GTA. We are seeking an experienced, high energy, professional, delivery driver for our team. You must be 25 years or older with a clean driving abstract. This is a part-time early morning driving position that would require you to work up to a total of 20+ hours between Monday and Sunday, as well as holidays. The bakery is open 24 hours, Sunday - Saturday. Training will be provided. Based on performance it could lead to more hours as we generally have 2 types of routes. daily we have our early morning routes that deliver our pastries to our retail locations, then our 2nd routes (tue to Friday) that are mid mornings and deliver retail supplies to our store. Responsibilities and Duties - Assist with Organizing orders - Execute your daily assigned schedule - Deliver products to retail locations on time - Adhere to location delivery requirements - Pick up and deliver to locations by designated times & according to checklist procedures - Check in with Manager as required - Follow Company procedures and processes - Step in to assist with other duties (pick up or delivery as directed during non peak hours Qualifications and Skills - Valid G license -Valid AZ licence - Clean Drivers Abstract - 25 years and over - 8+ Yrs experience (food delivery an asset) -Positive and energetic attitude - Ability to stay calm in stressful traffic situations - Integrity and commitment to the business' success - Proven self starter with a desire to solve problems - Attention to detail - Clean and organized - Team player - Early riser - Numerical competency - Must be available on weekends - Must be able to lift up to 20kg - English spoken/written communication (preferred) - Must have good knowledge of the GTA neighborhoods and surrounding areas Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 ? 25 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount Schedule: * 4 hour shift * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * Heavy lifting: 1 year (required) * Delivery driver experience using a refrigerated box truck: 8 years (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * AZ licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationMississauga, ON
