Your pathway to success starts here with a team driven by dedication and customer focus, fueling continuous improvement through value- added services, technological advancements, and employee training.Our Halifax/Dartmouth, NS location is currently seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory Supervisor The key responsibilities of the VMI Supervisor include: Overseeing the daily operations of the delivery team in the Nova Scotia regionManaging delivery schedules while ensuring timely and accurate deliveriesMaintaining vehicle and equipment standardsEnsuring all team members are highly trained and competent with CribMaster and SA solutionsLeading a team of delivery personnel to achieve high levels of customer satisfactionThe ideal candidate possesses:Highschool diploma or equivalent; a post secondary degree in logistics, business or related field would be considered an asset 3-5 years of logistics or delivery experience 1-2 years of supervisory experience Strong leadership & team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving & conflict resolution abilities Proficiency in logistics and software tools Ability to work in a fast pace environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously Work Environment & Travel Requirements: This role involves working in both office and field environments Travel to other Canadian sites may be required to support implementation projects Travel for vendor training within the U.S and Canada may be necessary Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet delivery schedules A background check and security clearances are required to access certain customer sites (restricted area pass) All full-time positions offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package, including:Position related trainingCompetitive Pay ScaleFlexible Health, Drug and Dental PlanMatching Contribution Retirement Savings PlanLife and Disability Insurance OptionsConfidential Employee Assistance ProgramService Awards ProgramEnhanced Vacation EntitlementPhysical Fitness Refund PlanSource Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer.
