*Job Summary* Precision Construction Components (PCC) is hiring an Operations Engineer to design building components at our facility in Stratford, PE. This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will offer significant autonomy and ability to shape the direction of the business. *We?re looking for somebody that can work with our production team to:* * Create design packages, shop drawings and estimates for building components. * Work with the production team to improve the production process and add more capabilities to our productions line. * Design details for new product lines to push the boundaries on how quickly we can build new homes. *Why work for PCC:* * Competitive pay and growth opportunities. * Training and development opportunities. * Join a team whose mission is to make great housing abundant. * Short commute to work eliminating the need to cross the Hillsborough bridge into Charlottetown in the morning. *The Successful Candidate should have or be able to:* * Work with your hands to bring your projects to life. This role will be equally desk work and hands on execution. * Work with various software programs to design wall panels for production. * Use CAD programs to design jigs and fixtures for the production line. * Interpret building codes to ensure our product is in compliance. * Perform their work in a professional, safe, timely and ethical manner. * A reliable form of transportation to the facility in Stratford. * Experience in forklift operation is considered an asset. *Start Date: * * Flexible based on your timeline.
