We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team and elevate our menu with a blend of traditional British pastries and innovative creations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a love for baking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
\* Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, including tarts, scones, pies, cakes, and other classic British treats.
\* Develop new pastry recipes that complement our existing offerings, blending tradition with creativity.
\* Ensure all baked goods are produced in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
\* Oversee ingredient sourcing and inventory to maintain the freshness and quality of our products.
\* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
\* Collaborate with the team to plan seasonal and special event menus.
Qualifications:
\* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a bakery or restaurant.
\* Professional culinary training or equivalent experience preferred.
\* Strong knowledge of traditional British pastries and modern dessert techniques.
\* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
\* Creative, with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
\* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
