*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in the food industry. Must be reliable, able to work on your own in a fast paced kitchen. *Duties* - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards - Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized - Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed - Follow proper food handling procedures - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays -Must be able to work in Canada and currently living in Grande Prairie Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * Cooking: 1 year (preferred) * Food industry: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationGrande Prairie, AB
