*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with Physiotherapists, ABA therapists,Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a Multi-disciplinary setting . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various neuromuscular and neurodiverse conditions and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing patient recovery and well-being. *Responsibilities* * Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for pediatric patients. * Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions. * Help children with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used. * Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physiotherapist. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the therapy environment. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning. *Requirements* * Previous experience in Pediatric Physiotherapy is mandatory. * 2 years full time or equivalent experience working with children is an asset * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. * Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks. * Physical stamina to assist patients during therapy sessions, including lifting and moving patients as necessary. * A compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on promoting recovery and comfort.
