WorleyCord Energy Solutions Ltd. a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd. is seeking: *Journeyperson Carpenters* To work at our *IPL Project* in *Fort Saskatchewan, AB.* * *SALARY: *From $26.60 - $44.34 per hour * *BENEFITS: 4% Pension & 4% RRSP + CLAC Benefits* * *OVERTIME:* After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week * *START DATE:* ASAP * *SCHEDULE: *9/80 * *HOURS PER DAY: *10 hours per day * *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) * *SHIFT: *Day Shift * *DURATION:* TBD *Requirements:* * Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Carpenters ticket from a recognized provincial training authority OR proof of hours * Experience supervising crews * Must have experience working at heights * Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Previous construction experience is an asset * Strong communication skills written and verbal * Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Responsibilities:* * Comprehends blueprint readings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions * Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers, and other structures * Checks completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape, and location * May perform other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $44.34 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Are you local to Edmonton Area? * Are you available to start immediately?
