_Note: Command of French and English is required._ As a Travel Agent at Travelpath, it is your mission to deliver exceptional customer service that upholds Travelpath?s motto - ?Big Enough to Count, Small Enough to Care?. You have superior Sabre skills. You pride yourself on being an agent ?Extraordinaire?. Using your excellent communication and organization skills you issue domestic, international flight tickets, book and coordinate land options. Travelpath considers your life work balance by 3 days working in the office and 2 days from home. For an employee where commuting is not practical, (excessive distance) the position would be 100% from home after training is completed of 1-3 months. *DESIRED SKILS* * Strong Sabre skills * Bilingual - French/English required * Knowledge of Concur, Etta and Certify is an asset * TICO Certified or willing to pass exam * Embrace technology and view it as a tool to supplement personal service * Great travel supplier knowledge (airlines, hotels, tour operators and car vendors) * Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment resulting in a high degree of accuracy * Superior communication and organizational skills *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Respond to incoming requests for group travel from customers * Provide appropriate flight, hotel and car recommendation options, pricing, itinerary information and required travel documentation * Reserve, ticket and manage all aspects of a client?s group request including requested changes, schedule adjustments and cancellations * Utilize Sabre GDS and supplier websites * Provide support to clients utilizing Concur, Etta or Certify * Manage client and group profile data * Keep up-to-date on Travelpath and client preferred suppliers and products, news, weather and politics * Cultivate good relationship with clients, suppliers and the Travelpath team Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Employee stock purchase plan * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site gym * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care * Work from home Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Are you a permanent resident of Canada Experience: * retail corporate: 3 years (required) Language: * French and English (required) Licence/Certification: * TICO license (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Burlington, ON L7L 4X5- LocationBurlington, ON
