<p><span><span><span>Forvis Mazars is a global top 10 audit and advisory network composed of two independent partnerships with over 40,000 people in more than 100 countries. </span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>Our firm in Canada, with offices in Montreal, Outaouais, and Toronto, brings together nearly 200 professionals offering a full range of services in the audit, accounting, tax, and advisory.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>About the Position</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>As a <b>Tax Specialist</b> at Forvis Mazars, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team in Montréal, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch services.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Your responsibilities</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Review corporate income tax returns, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and compliance with tax regulations;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Respond to inquiries from audit staff and discuss technical aspects encountered during engagements;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Review individual income tax returns or assist preparers of these returns as a tax resource during the individual tax season;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Conduct tax research;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Draft reorganization memoranda in collaboration with managers, senior managers, or partners.</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Your Skills and Experience</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>You might be a good fit if you have:</span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Graduate degree in taxation or a master's degree in taxation;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Member of a relevant professional corporation (CPA) or the Quebec Bar;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a firm or equivalent in a company;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written);</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Proficiency in appropriate software (Microsoft Office suite, Taxprep, CCH, Taxnet pro...);</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Attention to detail and diligence;</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Excellent prioritization and deadline management skills.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Proficiency in French and English, to effectively interact with all our clients in Quebec and beyond.</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Why choose Forvis Mazars in Canada?</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>Choosing Forvis Mazars in Canada means choosing a world-class company... on a human scale.
