*Yukon Home And Tour is a small company. We are looking for an individual with the capacity to a very diverse job, and flexibility in many fields is required. In this position, you will require to have individual decision-making and great teamwork skills. The year-round aspect of this job is meet & greet, guiding day tours, driver-guide tours, Aurora tours, sightseeing tours, and natural interpretation tours. This position is for an outgoing person looking to work well in a team, be independent, detail oriented, and develop ideas to help grow the company successfully.* *Job Position:* Tour Guide (NOC 64320) *Wage*: $26 per hour *Working Hours:* 40 hours per week *Working Schedule: *Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, on call, overtime *Terms of Employment:* Permanent full time *Employment Starting Date*: start as soon as possible *Vacancy*: 1 *Language of Work*: English *Asset Language*: Chinese, Korean or Japanese *Education Requirement: *Secondary (high) school graduation certificate *Experience Requirement*: Experience an asset *Work site environment*: Outdoors, extremely cold, non-smoking *Work Setting:* Urband area, Rural area *Job Duties:* * Drive sightseeing or tour vehicle * Confirm transportation and accommodation reservations * Describe points of interest, answer questions and supply information * Resolve itinerary and other problems * Assist clients with check-in procedures for accommodation and/or transportation * Assist clients/guests with special needs * Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions and historical, heritage and other sites, * Prepare vehicle, accommodation, and viewing site ready for clients * Good knowledge of local history and geography or willingness to acquire this knowledge * Drug-free, non-smoking and safe environment for everyone *Credentials: *First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate *Travel information: *Valid class four driver license,Willing to travel regularly, extended periods, and overnight. *Work Conditions and Requirements:* Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure Tight deadlines, physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Willing to work in extremely cold temperatures. *Personal Suitability: *Client focus, Puncture, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication Coachable, Flexible, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Attention to detail, Team player, Ability to work alone, physically active, Good organizational and leadership skills. *How to Apply:* *By Email:* triptoyukon@gmail.com *How-to-apply instructions: *include cover letter when applying Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationWhitehorse, YT
