Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Budgetary responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000. Tasks: Coordinate subcontractors activities . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Select trade subcontractors . Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Develop and implement quality control programs. Develop risk management plans. Oversee the analysis of data and information. Prepare reports. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) Certification of recognition. Working at heights training. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. MS Access. MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Project. MS Word. Mac OS. SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD). Tablet computer. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Area of specialization: Project management.
