*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning in collaboration with the dentist. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. * Provide support in various areas of the dental office, including assisting with orthodontics and pediatrics as necessary. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience. *Requirements* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred. * Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous, especially in pediatrics or orthodontics. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
