Garage Serviceperson1 Year TermKeep the wheels turning! As a Garage Serviceperson in our Fleet Services department, you?ll work with a team of qualified mechanics to service and maintain the City?s fleet of cars, light to heavy duty trucks, industrial construction equipment, including firefighting apparatus and parks machinery. We are looking for a Fleet Service Person to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work with our team of Certified Mechanics that consists of technicians with great personalities, talented repair skills, and a high degree of pride in their workmanship. It is this group of dedicated people who keep our 250 pieces of equipment reliable and safe. This is a 1 Year term position with opportunities for growth.QualificationsHigh School graduation or equivalent BC Drivers Licence - Class 3 with Air Ticket Experience Problem Solving & Attention to Detail Service Excellence Computer Literacy Practical Serviceperson Test Grow your career in an organization that supports employee work-life balance and career and professional development. This is a CUPE bargaining unit position with an hourly rate of $34.93 plus 14% in lieu of vacation, statutory pay, other paid leaves fringe benefits and premiums which increases to 17% after 6 months full time equivalent.
