*Job description* WorleyCord Teamco Ltd. , a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd., is seeking: *Apprentice Insulators* To work at our *Blackfalds Module Yard* in *Blackfalds, AB.* * *SALARY: *Up to $44.00 per hour * *OVERTIME:* 40 hours in a week * *TRAVEL:* Local Position ? no travel * *START DATE:* ASAP * *SCHEDULE: *5 days on, 2 days off * *HOURS PER DAY: *10 hours per day * *PAY SCHEDULE: *Weekly Pay (Friday) * *SHIFT: Dayshift* * *ACCOMODATIONS: *Local Position ? N/A * *DURATION:* Ongoing * *WORK SCOPE:* Module Yard *Working Conditions:* Fulltime, Temporary Employee benefits provided by OpenCircle Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions *Requirements:* * Must have a valid Apprenticeship Insulating ticket from a recognized provincial training authority OR proof of hours * Must have experience working at heights * Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection * Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision * Strong communication skills written and verbal * Previous modular experience is an asset *Responsibilities:* * Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g. calcium silicate, foam glass, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, piping) * Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine insulation requirements * Measure, cut, fit, and install insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension * Install vapor barriers and finish insulated surfaces by applying metal cladding, canvas, plastic sheeting or cement * Previous industrial construction experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $44.00 per hour Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Dayshift Supplemental pay types: * Overtime pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Blackfalds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Can you start immediately?
