Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Mechanics and repairers, general. Tasks: Conduct component defect investigations, examinations and tests. Prepare draft investigative reports of findings. Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards. Conduct inspections and tests of a variety of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults. Type of inspection: Automobiles and trucks. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Cellular phone. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized.
