*Job Role : Python Engineer* *LOACTION: WATERLOO/OTTAWA, ON (Onsite)* *Job Type :: Full Time * *job Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled and *motivated Python Engineer to* join our dynamic team. As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance Python applications and systems. You will work closely with other engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver efficient and reliable solutions to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: * *Develop, test, and maintain Python applications:* * Design, implement, and optimize backend services, APIs, and scripts. * Build reusable, efficient, and modular code. * Write unit tests and ensure proper code coverage to maintain high-quality code. * *Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Python code.* * *Collaboration with cross-functional teams:* * Work closely with other developers, product managers, and designers to define technical requirements and implement solutions. * Collaborate on system architecture decisions and design choices. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. * *Database Integration:* * Design and maintain databases, integrate with SQL and NoSQL systems (e.g., *PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis*). * Optimize database queries and troubleshoot performance issues. * *Cloud & Infrastructure*: * *Work with cloud technologies and platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.* * Assist in deploying and managing Python applications in cloud environments. * Help build scalable systems that can handle high loads and large amounts of data. *Required Qualifications:* * *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* * *Proven experience as a Python Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.* * *Strong knowledge of Python programming language (Python 3.x).* * Proficiency in working with databases (SQL, NoSQL, or others). * *Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.* * Familiarity with version control systems like Git. * *Experience with RESTful API design and integration.* * Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). * Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
